The BM2700 Modular Beach Cleaning Machine is a tractor-towed beach cleaning machine developed especially for collecting wet seaweed that accumulates along the shoreline where the sea meets the sand and in shallow water.

The machine can operate along the shoreline in water up to approximately 50 cm deep. Pointed spring tines on the continuous belt catch seaweed and suitable foreign materials and carry them to the waste hopper at the rear of the machine. The BM2700 can also be used to collect various foreign materials from dry sandy areas.

How Does the BM2700 Work?

1. Collecting Seaweed and Waste

The BM2700 has pointed spring tines on its continuous belt system. During operation, this system catches seaweed and suitable foreign materials from the surface.

2. Separating Sand from Foreign Materials

While collecting seaweed and foreign materials, the machine allows the sand to remain on the beach. The BM2700 operates differently from a conventional belt-screen system.

3. Storing the Waste

The collected seaweed and foreign materials are stored in the 1,35 m³ waste hopper at the rear of the machine.

4. Levelling the Cleaned Surface

After collection, the machine also helps level the sand surface to leave the cleaned area more even.

5. Emptying Waste into a Transfer Vehicle
